Lightning AI ensures the safety and integrity of customer data through rigorous backup and monitoring processes. As part of our SOC 2 compliance, Lightning AI uses data backup processes to ensure customer data can be restored in a timely manner in the event of an incident.

Our backup infrastructure is securely isolated on private networks, ensuring logical separation from other networks to protect your data fully.

Backup frequency

Lightning AI conducts automatic daily backups that are replicated to a geo-redundant region with a standard retention period of 7 days. For enhanced protection, especially prior to application changes, we initiate geo-redundant backups with longer retention periods automatically.
